Your Body is an Oracle

Our bodies are constantly trying to communicate with us - through our feelings and sensations. How often do you push through your pain or take a pill, just to finish what you were doing?

What if these 'inconveniences' actually had a higher purpose - to point you back to your soul path?

For over a year I pushed my online services. It's what everyone was doing in my community - working online - so of course I thought I should be too. The thing is, sitting in front of a computer screen hurt my eyes. It gave me headaches and left me feeling drained.

But still, I pushed through – I didn’t see any other way (it’s what everyone was doing after all). I just had to accept the fact that I would get headaches and move on.

My body was not going to accept this as my truth. One day, after working with an online client whilst dealing with an excruciating headache, I finished the session and broke down. Why was this so bloody hard?

The answer came in a soft, clear voice in my mind...

'You were never meant to be stuck in front of a computer. You were meant to be working in person, making deep soul connections, using nature as a guide'.

I looked up from where I was sitting and I felt into the truth of this. The land here is breath-taking. It is magical and it is deeply healing. From the moment I moved here, I felt it – in some way, I was going to work with this land for greater good.

My best work has always been in direct partnership with nature - this is something I could never truly offer through a computer screen (as much as I tried). To truly experience the gifts of nature, we must be IN nature.

When I came to this realisation, I started to notice my breathing slow down. I noticed my headache subsiding and my energy levels pick up again - simply from sitting on the earth and listening.

Your body is an oracle. There are no ‘coincidences’, things don’t happen for no reason. There is a deeper meaning in everything we experience. Our bodies communicate with us in any way they can – getting louder and louder each time we ignore their message.

Next time you experience pain or dis-ease, ask your body what it’s trying to tell you?

Is it possible that you too may have wondered off your path?
